- Yes there are more differences than just those I mentioned. But I think
- that they are the most important ones. SunOS comes with TCP/IP and two
- flavors of windowing environments. Coherent has neither. Does that
- make Coherent worse? Not if you only have $100! I use a $60K Hewlett
- Packard workstation at work. But I have Coherent at home. Why?
- Because Coherent gives me all the functionality i want to read my email
- and news and develop admin scripts for the office but does'nt make my
- wifes eyes roll back in her head when she looks at the bill. If I had
- the money to buy a Sun IPX or SGI Indigo I'd probably have one at home
- but today I have Coherent on a 386/20. I guess that Sun Solaris is
- available for the 386 but it's bound to be bigger than 10Meg and
- probably is more than $1000 by the time you throw in the developers
- toolbox.

- Oh I almost forgot, besides being smaller cheeper and slower Coherent is
- more stable than SunOS too!
