- As a member of EFF (with a spiffy new t-shirt I might add!) I'd like
- to publicly ask:Where does EFF stand on the issue of government
- regulation of Ecryption with specific attention to the issues of
- Import/Export regulations (and their chilling effect on secured
- international communications via internet) and Government attempts
- to force the release of keys or weakning of cryptographic systems
- via law (re:the latest round of bills in the house regarding 'built
- in weakness' to cryptographic systems)?
-
- In addition, what activitites, if any, has EFF involved itself in or
- allied itself with regarding these areas?
