  15. I have no idea what version of UUCP you are running.  However, it was
  16. recently pointed out to me that the uux in Taylor UUCP always exits
  17. with 1 on failure, rather than using an exit code which mailers know
  18. how to interpret (this will be corrected, eventually).  If you are
  19. running Taylor UUCP, or even if you aren't, you should check the UUCP
  20. log files, to see if any error message appears there.  I assume that
  21. smail would be returning any messages uux writes to stderr, and that
  22. no such messages are being written.
