- I've recnetly changed my sendmail.cf to take advantage of our new PPP
- connection and as a result, our incoming MX domain mail over uucp (we're
- only doing outgoing using PPP at the moment) comes in and gets it's "From "
- (and Return-Path) line(s) modified with a "somewhere!" put on the front of
- it. The only place I can even find a string with the value somewhere in it
- is in /bin/rmail, where the string there is "remote from somewhere".
-
- Hopefully this will be Overtaken By Events (OBE) when we start receiving
- incoming mail via SMTP, but it's kind of annoying at the moment.
-
- We don't have this problem with mail coming directly from other uucp sites.
- Machine is VAX/Ultrix 4.0.
