  14. I need help, please.  I have an account I am trying to set up as a mail server
  15. for an application.  I need to have a .forward file which invokes a program.
  16. I've done this before but I just can't get it to work.  What is even more
  17. frustrating is that we have a FAX account which works flawlessly.

  19. Environment: SPARCstation 2 which will have the server account.  690 mail
  20. server.  SunOS 4.1.2.  Vanilla Sun sendmail.

  22. I alias the account on the 690 as:

  24. foo:    foo@ss2
  25.  
  26. I set up the .forward file in the home directory of foo:
  27. "| /usr/bin/cat >/home/foo/dolt.file"
  28.  
  29. Permissions on dolt.file are 666.

  31. But I don't see nuttin in dolt.file.  What's wrong with this picture???
