- Hi folks,
-
- this might be a FAQ but I don't know the answer yet :-)
-
- I am kind of fed up with lots of junky mailing lists coming directly into my
- mailbox. Therefore, I intend to feed these mails into our newsserver (having
- local newsgroups for that purpose). Reading the stuff there would be more
- convenient for me and my colleagues as well.
-
- I already have each mailing list coming to a different local mail address, thus
- I know what is what and don't need to scan my mailbox. All I need is a good
- pipe...
-
- Q: Is there a program that takes a usual e-mail as input and posts it to a
- certain newsgroup? This should include some header-editing (adding Newsgroup:,
- removing Received etc.).
-
- My environment is UNIX / SunOS.
-
- Thank you very much for any help. Please, answer directly to me - I'll
- summarize later to the list if necessary.
