  11. Hello, I hope someone can help.

  13. I have just built elm2.3pl11 on a sysV machine. 
  14. It seems to work OK, but if I just run it and leave elm sitting at its
  15. prompt, after about a minute I get the message 'Alarm call', and elm
  16. exits, leaving a temporary file around (/tmp/mbox.cm). Invoking elm again
  17. gives an error msg saying that another invocation of elm is running.
