- well, your $HOME directory doesn't really have anything to do with it,
- since incoming mail isn't stored there.... it's normally stored in
- either /usr/mail or /usr/spool/mail --- but the problem you describe
- could very well happen, if the /usr partition (or whatever partition
- happened to hold the above directories) filled up.
