  17. I just reran 'Configure' and it reported I don't have flock(), and it is
  18. going to use .lock files.  I assume that prevents other elm's from
  19. losing my mail, but maybe my mail deliverer doesn't use the same locking
  20. scheme, and that may be why I lost that mail.

  22. My system does have lockf(), and an fcntl() locking call, plus the
  23. ability to specify mandatory or advisory locks, but I don't think elm
  24. uses them.
