- I just reran 'Configure' and it reported I don't have flock(), and it is
- going to use .lock files. I assume that prevents other elm's from
- losing my mail, but maybe my mail deliverer doesn't use the same locking
- scheme, and that may be why I lost that mail.

- My system does have lockf(), and an fcntl() locking call, plus the
- ability to specify mandatory or advisory locks, but I don't think elm
- uses them.
