- Does anyone know how to set up group aliases on Berkeley mail, Pine or ELM 2.3
- so that the receiver cannot see the names of the other people in the group
- alias on the "To:" line?
-
- ELM will print the email address with the name defined in aliases.text in
- brackets for everyone in the group alias on the 'To:' line.
-
- e.g. if the aliases.text reads:
-
- a1 = x = add1
- a2 = y = add2
- a3 = z = add3
- test = test = add1,add2,add3
-
- then on sending mail to 'test' the 'To:' line on the receivers' mail reads:
-
- To: add1(x), add2(y), add3(z)
-
- Is there any way of customizing ELM, Pine or Berkeley mail so that only the
- receiver's address or only the names (x,y,z) appear on the 'To:' line?
-
- Thank you in advance.
