  10. Does anyone know how to set up group aliases on Berkeley mail, Pine or ELM 2.3
  11. so that the receiver cannot see the names of the other people in the group
  12. alias on the "To:" line?

  14. ELM will print the email address with the name defined in aliases.text in
  15. brackets for everyone in the group alias on the 'To:' line.

  17. e.g. if the aliases.text reads:

  19. a1 = x = add1
  20. a2 = y = add2
  21. a3 = z = add3
  22. test = test = add1,add2,add3
  23.  
  24. then on sending mail to 'test' the 'To:' line on the receivers' mail reads:

  26. To: add1(x), add2(y), add3(z)

  28. Is there any way of customizing ELM, Pine or Berkeley mail so that only the
  29. receiver's address or only the names (x,y,z) appear on the 'To:' line?
