- Okay, the ayes have it. The BOS mailing list lives. Send ADMINISTRATIVE
- REQUESTS ("please add me to your stupid list", etc.) to
- snl+bos-requests@cmu.edu
- and other messages to
- snl+bos@cmu.edu
- The -requests address is not (yet) a robot (although when/if I make it
- one, I'll use tcl/bos to do it, of course); so, please be patient.
-
- I've added all the folks who asked to be added as of the date on this
- message, which isn't everyone who has emailed me about bos. So, if you
- want to be on the list, that number was
- snl+bos-requests@cmu.edu
-
- If it gets big enough, I'll turn it into a real, blessed mailing list in
- CS.CMU.EDU, but that's too much work for now.
-
- BTW, I've gathered about five or six messages that I've sent to various
- people with example code, answers to questions, etc. and am editing the
- mess into some sort of FAQ/document, which I will send to the list.
- Thanks for the impetus to do it. Currently, the topics are:
- * examples
- * why are my makefiles so strange
- * how to stick bos into any app that uses tcl
- * how inheritance in bos works
- and probably others.
-
- Cheers,
- -- Sean
