- Subject: BOS mailing list?
- Lines: 25
-
- I've gotten mail from several folks around the net, both recently and in
- the more distant past about BOS, ranging from praise to disbelief to
- questions on how to use it, even one mystical conspiracy theory about
- code developed on AFS which, I can assure my gentle readers, is TOTALLY
- FALSE, and if you ever come across it, just ignore it, really. :-)
- Honest. :-):-)
-
- At any rate, I'm posting to find out if there is sufficient interest in
- this thing for me to set up a little mailing list or not. The topic
- wouldn't have to be limited to BOS, but could also be about embeddable
- languages, object-oriented environments, the relationship of things like
- tcl and bos to programming in the large, etc. etc. Anyone interested in
- such a thing please send me email. Of course, we could always keep it in
- comp.lang.tcl...
-
- A more comprehensive document about BOS *is* in preparation, but I have
- limited time. The amount of interest I've recieved from the net has been
- a factor in spurring me to write it, so keep those cards and letters
- coming!
-
- Cheers,
