- With regards to this thread, I, too, would like to add my vote of
- superlative gratitude to the Perl Greats: Larry, Tom, Randal,
- and many others (including Perl's maternal uncle :) and Raymond)
- who've helped me in some way or other.
-
- I picked up Perl in May this year following the suggestion of a
- colleague, and I've been hooked to it ever since. Although still a
- relative neophyte in Perl, my progress is speedier with this
- newsgroup. The contributions to this group make me feel that Perl
- users are like a close-knit family, complete with uncles,
- grandfathers and many children :). I like it. Although some of my
- questions don't get answered at all, I assure myself that the Perl
- Greats are hinting to me that "that's a stupid question, go RTFM or
- get a clue from other postings/followups.." :)
-
- I hope someday, I'll be able to answer questions in the newsgroup
- rather than always asking them.
-
- Thank you, thank you, thank you.
