  11. i know this sounds seriously warped, but has anyone used perl to do
  12. communication-port oriented tasks on MSDOS? since you can treat COM1:
  13. and COM2: as files, and do single character file IO, it should be possible
  14. to have a perl script doing automated communication processes like
  15. being a front end for a UUCP hookup, doing automated online sessions etc...
