  18. Okay, I've held my piece (peace?) for long enough.  It is not that I
  19. think that Larry's ego needs any help.  Far from it.  In fact the 
  20. point *really* is, I wonder if Larry actually has an ego ;-)

  22. I for one, want to applaud Larry for the "kind, faceless, gentle,
  23. unassuming, *non-obnoxious* and generally friendly way he supports us.
  24.  
  25. And no this is not idle worship.  I very much respect the dignity
  26. that Larry brings to my (our) lives and simply wish to acknowledge
  27. him publicly---even if "trn" warns me it is going to cost the net
  28. "thousands"---for his contribution, which far exceeds the "mere" value
  29. of perl as a facility.
