  17. A recent issue of ACM's SIPGLAN Notices had a letter from someone (I've
  18. misplaced it) offering copies of the proposed new standard for object
  19. extensions to Pascal, for comment or review.  I conclude, therefore, that
  20. a standard for an extended version of Pascal is wending its way through
  21. the system.
