  20.         This is probably way out of line, but I'm gonna do it anyway.

  22.         Personally, I get a little sick of always seeing these "go buy another
  23. compiler" posts when someone asks for help on a problem.  It is pretty obvious
  24. to me from reading the original post that the poster HAS tp 6.0 and wants to
  25. use IT.  He didn't ask for any help on choosing a compiler that WOULD do what
  26. he wanted, he wanted to know if tp 6.0 would do it.

  28.         Telling people to go out and spend more money when they are (?)
  29. comfortable with something they already have is a pretty poor solution for any
  30. problem.  Personally, I don't have the money to go out and buy some new
  31. compiler when tp 6.0 doesn't quite do what I want it to.

  33.         Flame off.  I just think these ads to go out and buy a new compiler are
  34. getting a little old.  Besides, if Borland listens to customers the new version
  35. of Pascal they should be releasing will most likely do a compile to .OBJ.  And
  36. upgrades are cheaper than new compilers.
