  18. The problem with BBSes that they usually do not have the up to date
  19. versions.  I would be pleased if they did, and any help from the
  20. fellow users to make it so in the form of uploads to BBSes would be
  21. appreciated.

  23. Anyway, these files are eg on SIMTEL20 MsDos archives, part of which
  24. in turn is mirrored by a BBS in the States.  Below is an extract
  25. from the maintainer's canned messages.  On top of that you can get
  26. garbo.uwasa.fi files on CD-ROM.  If you need more on that option,
  27. you are welcome to ask me by email.  Please do not, however, ask me
  28. questions about SIMTEL20 or its BBS.  SIMTEL20 maintainer is Keith
  29. Petersen (w8sdz@vela.acs.oakland.edu).

  32. files, including the PC-Blue collection, are also available for
  33. downloading from Detroit Download Central (313) 885-3956.  DDC
  34. has multiple lines which support 300/1200/2400/9600/14400 bps
  35. (103/212/V22bis/HST/V32bis/V42bis/MNP).  This is a subscription system
  36. with an average hourly cost of 17 cents.  It is also accessable on
  37. Telenet via PC Pursuit and on Tymnet via StarLink outdial.  New files
  38. uploaded to SIMTEL20 are usually available on DDC within 24 hours."
