- Thank you to all who replied to my question regarding saving variables
- within a subroutine between invocations and drew my attention to the SAVE
- statement. Much appreciated.

- This really points out the need for programming texts that fall somewhere
- between "10 statement Introductory Fortran" and the ANSI standard. If
- anyone would care to recommend any books on programming style in Fortran,
- I would be most interested. Does a FAQ list exist for this group? If so,
- is such a list included?
