  11. Thank you to all who replied to my question regarding saving variables
  12. within a subroutine between invocations and drew my attention to the SAVE
  13. statement.  Much appreciated.

  15. This really points out the need for programming texts that fall somewhere
  16. between "10 statement Introductory Fortran" and the ANSI standard. If
  17. anyone would care to recommend any books on programming style in Fortran, 
  18. I would be most interested.  Does a FAQ list exist for this group?  If so,
  19. is such a list included?
