  14. I am far from an expert at writing code! :-)  I have a few 
  15. questions...and I would greatly appreciate any help.  The
  16. questions are conceptual, so I would be happy with just a
  17. couple of sentences to guide me in the right direction (however,
  18. I am not intimately familiar with all of the C/C++ programs
  19. that are at my disposal...so please mention key functions by
  20. name)  Also, if anyone has written code that does some of
  21. the things that I'm looking for (and if it's not a problem),
  22. please email...even without any explanations (I would learn
  23. from trying to figure it out myself!)

  25. (NOTE: I'm using Borland C/C++ 3.1)

  27. 1.  I am looking for any help/direction/code/hints/etc...
  28.     concerning a general Graphical User Interface.  i.e.,
  29.     the "standard" menu-bar across the top of the screen
  30.     and pull-down-menus, pop-up windows, dialog boxes, etc...
  31.     (I know that the Windows platform for BC++ takes care
  32.     of a lot of the "dirty work" for Windows programs, but
  33.     I would like to create DOS programs)  I don't even
  34.     know where to start, but I do know that I need to create
  35.     general routines...so if anyone wouldn't mind sharing
  36.     code, please send.

  38. 2.  I am also looking for any help with incorporating a standard
  39.     mouse into my programs.  What functions should I use...once
  40.     again: anyone willing to send code?

  42. 3.  Also, how do I go about printing out a screenful of graphics
  43.     to a "standard" HP laser printer (or similar)?

  45. ANY help -- no matter how short (or if it's just some code sent
  46. with/without explanation) will be GREATLY APPRECIATED.  
  47. Or, could someone direct me to an anonymous FTP site that might
  48. have C/C++ code?
