- Gentlefolk,
-
- I would like to solicit your opinions on ANSI C compilers for DEC's VMS
- operating system.
-
- We're looking to buy one and this is what I've heard or know so far:
-
- - VAX C is currently *not* ANSI,
-
- - GNU C on VMS is buggy,
-
- - TauMetric offers ANSI C in its C++ compiler.
-
- Is TauMetric the one to choose? Have I missed anybody?
- Thanks. I'll summarize and post the results.
-
- Please send e-mail to glippert@dale.cts.com (I'm posting this via someone
- else).
