- I have the 24x and it's great, very fast.
- For windows: everything is fast and supports up to 16.8 mill color at 640x480.
- for dos:there are drivers for acad, etc, but vpic and other .gif viewers
- aren't compatible yet (they have to make new drivers)

- The S3 uses VRAM (video ram) instead of the 24x's DRAM (Dynamic Ram)
- so it would go even faster. You have to justify the extra speed (I don't know
- how much fast it is) to the $100 increase. If you have the extra $100 to spend
- get it.
