- I am on the verge of ordering the Diamond Speedstar 24x, and
- just wanted to check some stuff out. Someone reported having problems
- in their 800x600 mode; can somebody tell me if they are reliably
- running in the 800x600x32k mode?
- The "x" version of the 24 is worth the extra 30 bucks, eh?
- It comes with a paint program, right?
- Anybody have a "favorite" (read:cheap) place they got theirs
- from?
-
- Any other problems/considerations, that would make me opt for
- the straight 24 instead? The only real prob I have now is that I know
- of no DOS viewer which supports the cool modes of the 24x, whereas I
- know that Cshow has a driver out for the straigt 24....
-
- thanks...
