  14. Has anyone heard of MIP(Maximum Intensity Projection). This is
  15. technique used in medical area wherein images, obtained from magnetic
  16. resonance scanners, and are 3D data sets are processed to obtain 3D
  17. projections of the arterial system. This method probably got its name
  18. from the fact that the contrast of the arteries and other tissues is
  19. good in the set of images. 
  20. I would appreciate it if some information could be passed on as to
  21. how this works or some journals where this algorithm could be found.
