  13. I own a black and white scanner.. can anyone suggest some software
  14. for either Sun4/X11/unix or for IBM PC that can take 3 separate
  15. input picture files - each one containing red, green and blue color
  16. information respectively, and combine them, adding the colors, to
  17. produce a compostite color image?
  18.  
  19. Ive tried a few packages, but none seem to do the job properly..
  20. or am i going about it wrong by combining picture files with
  21. shades of red, green and blue in each of the files?

  23. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!
