- This comment is completely inaccurate. The question had nothing to do
- with why a paper was accepted. Someone simply asked how the work
- differed from some previous work. The question was addressed to the
- authors of the paper, not to Pat. My impression was that things were
- behind schedule and Pat just cut the question period short. Questions
- were skipped or cut short all thru the conference this year, and I have
- heard that this was partly due to unusual pressure from the A/V
- people. But I'll let someone else tell the Chicago-union stories...
