- I'm experimenting with some techniques of doing my own texture mapping,
- and I was wondering if anyone knew of a fast technique of intersecting
- rays with a height field. Subdividing the height field into polygons
- is a possibility, but it just seems like there must be an easier and
- faster way. Does anyone have any ideas of how to intersect rays with a
- height field?
-
- Any help appreciated.
- Al.
