- Was this the session where the second question asked was "what was new in
- the work presented and how it differed from some work presented in the 88
- conference?" and the answer was to talk to the authors after the session
- and to go on to the next paper? If so, as I recall, the audience was not
- very happy with the response, especially since the comment at the end of
- the paper was that there was time for a couple of questions since they
- were on time or even early.
-
- And on a different subject...did anyone besides me think the bus service
- could have been better? I remember waiting for a route 2 bus while 3
- route 3 buses ran their route. When the route 2 bus finally showed up and
- got us to the hotel, there were 2 other route 2 buses just parked there
- not taking passengers...it seemed that as one bus would pull in, they
- would send another bus out, but that two buses were always sitting parked
- at the Hyatt...and they weren't conserving energy, because they all were
- running to keep their air conditioners on! Was this some union thing
- mandating 45 minute rest breaks for every 15 minutes driving? :-)
