- I use both epoch and emacs in an x-windows environment.
- I would like to be able to display accented characters from the
- ISO-latin character set. I recently obtained by ftp a package
- called
-
- emacs-latin1.shar
-
- When I am in latin1-mode, I can display the accented characters
- as control sequences, but I am unable to have the control sequences
- displayed as accented characters.
-
- In my .Xresources file, I set the epoch and emacs fonts to be
-
- -misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--13-120-75-75-c-80-iso8859-1
-
- (I assumed this was would work because of the "iso8859." I guess that
- shows how much of a neophite I still am.)
-
- What more must I do to have accents?
-
- Eric
