  23. You might try the SYSVR4 port.  As I said in another message:

  25. Someone at U. of Toronto has done it 4.14.6 or 7.  The machine is
  26. relay.cs.toronto.edu, cd pub/moraes.

  28. It is a SYSV version with a few shortcomings compared to BSD.  There is a
  29. problem with signal handling and the setjmp longjmp that caused problems for
  30. me.  I was about ready to pull out my hair.  It does support interactive
  31. shell buffers.  Good luck.
