  10. I have converted the bulk of the uemacs manual from scribe to LaTeX.
  11. (All except a few of the later Appendices which did not interest
  12. me. EG the machine dependent sections). I did this because I wanted
  13. to produce a slightly modified version for local use and I don't
  14. have access to scribe. A bonus is that you can use makeindex to
  15. give you an index which wasn't included with the postscript version
  16. of the manual.

  18. I have printed the result using both cmr and postscript fonts.

  20. I am happy to email copies to anyone who want it. The compressed
  21. uuencoded file is 85K.
