  13. I had posted a query on using emacs to edit files which are write-able
  14. only by root (I am the sysadm.) A number of folks pointed me to a
  15. package called ange-ftp. This looks like a neat package, but it uses
  16. ftp to access files. We don't allow root logins over the network or
  17. via ftp, so this doesn't work for me, even for files on the same host.
  18.   Oh well, thanks anyway! Currently I am either starting a terminal
  19. inside of emacs or using another window when I am at an X-station.
