- One of my colleagues suffers from Carpal tunnel. She says that her
- therapist/physician told her touch typists are more susceptible than are hunt
- and peckers on computer keyboards. The problem seems to be the way one holds
- ones hands (as if holding a ball in the palm) coupled with the increased speed
- computer keyboards allow over typewriters. I've hunted and pecked since I was
- seven (when my mother gave me a typewriter) but I never took typing because I
- was too lazy.
