  26. I am also considering doing this, and would like to hear how your
  27. approach goes.  For many years, Queens College of CUNY has done this.
  28. Their approach in teaching languages (after the first one) is that students
  29. take a 1 credit course as an independent project, working off of a tutorial
  30. manual, with programming expected of them.  The students must also pass a
  31. final exam.  For more details on their experiences, you might wish to write
  32. to Dr. Seymour Goodman at Queens (Flushing, NY 11367)
