- "vile" (VI-Like Emacs), which is a program written from the base
- of microemacs, provides almost complete vi compatibility, an
- X Window interface with cursor mousing, and multiple vi edit
- windows on screen. In my opinion, it provides everything vi
- users have been looking wistfully at emacs for without providing
- the lack of modality. The source is freely available at, I
- think, ftp.cayman.com. There's also a PC version precompiled
- at that site (customizable colors, ooh. :))
