  15. This may be a silly question but anyway ...

  17.   A couple of years ago I had a phone installed in my bathroom. For
  18. some reason I kept on getting calls when in the bathroom rather than
  19. leave the machine on I wanted to pick them up.  The phone I put in was
  20. a ATT trimline type phone but made in the East somewhere.

  22.   Well two years of steam from showers etc. and I think the phone has
  23. suffered. Callers tell me the sound is muffled now (I don't think it
  24. has a carbon mic) and leaving it out to dry for a couple of days has
  25. not fixed the problem.

  27.   Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem. What kind of
  28. phone should I be looking at? Should I enclose it in some steamproof
  29. covering?
