  15. I bought an old phone; a 1947 Sweedish Ericsson LM. It only has three
  16. wires coming out of it, and is missing the green which I need to hook
  17. it up. I have descibed the terminal setup inside.  If this makes any
  18. sense to you, and if you can tell me which wires to move to hook it up
  19. properly, I would be greatly in your debt. If you can't, well I can
  20. take it to a shop, but I would love to have a go at it myself. Do you
  21. have any ideas?

  23. There are two rows of terminals, offset like two steps on a stair
  24. case.  The top row of screw-down terminals is 1,3,5,7,9.  The bottom
  25. row is 2,4,6,8,10.

  27. There are wires attached to the top of these terminals by screws, and
  28. to the bottom by solder.

  30. The wires attached to the top of the terminals:

  32. *the dial has three wires:
  33. - term #1=red
  34. - #2=blue
  35. - #3=white

  37. *the handset has three wires:
  38. -#5=red
  39. -#7=black
  40. -#9=yellow

  42. *the line out has three wires:
  43. - #6=red
  44. - #8=black
  45. - #10=yellow

  47. The wires soldered to the bottoms of the terminals:

  49. The bell, hook, and "guts" are strung together into a bundle, which
  50. are attached to the bottoms of the terminals. It would be difficult to
  51. sort them out.
