- Many versions of Comm. Manager routinely ignores the 'largest
- frame' field returned in explorers. As such, they will ignore an
- explorer or reply to it coming from the 'transparent bridged'
- (Ethernet) world and send frames that are too large to be sent to an
- ethernet. Fragmentation is not possible. You need to manually
- configure the PS/2s. There is a caveat to this effect in the 9.0
- documentation on SR/TLB.

- Hi,
-
- Has anyone tried cisco's source route translational bridging (between
- Ethernet and Token Ring) feature in 9.0.1? We have a PS/2 with OS/2
- 1.3 EE, using Comm Mgr and LU6.2 on ether trying to talk to a 3174 on
- a token ring with a AGS+ in between and there are a large number of
- "packets too large for translational bridging" errors. We had a tty
- session once but then it never worked again. I've been talking to
- cisco, but so far, not much help. Thanks.
