- Your description of the problem isn't quite definitive, but I bet you
- aren't running 8.2(8) or 8.3(3) or 9.0(1) on the router with the
- flipping route. There is a known problem in earlier versions whereby if
- an interface with a static route defined over it goes down the route
- flips to another interface instead of disappearing. It isn't just the
- routing table, the running config gets changed too!
