- Subject: UDP broadcasts....

- We currently have a problem where-by a udp broadcast on a subnet (1) is add-
- ressed to subnet 2 i.e. xx.xx.2.255 .The source host is on sub-net 1.
- There is NO "helper address" or "udp forwarding" configuredon the Cisco.
- This broadcast is then passed through the router to subnet 2. On subnet 2
- it appears as an ethernet broacast and an ip broadcast BUT to ip address
- 255.255.255.255 . At first I thought that this may happen due to an input-
- list for bridge-group 1 on the subnet 1 interface but with the source host
- removed from the list it still occured.
- Has anyone seen this before ?
- Can anyone help ? I do not want these broacasts.
- Thanks
- Tim
