  11.     I would like to connect PC's with MSDOS with cisco terminal
  12.     server via modems and dial-up PPP ( asynchronous ).
  13.     Do you know any software package with this capability ? 
  14.     ( I have heard that ka9q would be one of the choices )

  16. The cisco terminal servers do not support async PPP until the 9.1
  17. release.  If you have a cisco-500 terminal server, it already has
  18. 9.1, otherwise, it is still in beta test.

  20. KA9Q is one choice.  We have also tested against the Merit version of
  21. NCSA telnet with PPP packet driver - works fine.  FTP software has a
  22. version that supports PPP too, I think.
