- I would like to connect PC's with MSDOS with cisco terminal
- server via modems and dial-up PPP ( asynchronous ).
- Do you know any software package with this capability ?
- ( I have heard that ka9q would be one of the choices )
-
- The cisco terminal servers do not support async PPP until the 9.1
- release. If you have a cisco-500 terminal server, it already has
- 9.1, otherwise, it is still in beta test.
-
- KA9Q is one choice. We have also tested against the Merit version of
- NCSA telnet with PPP packet driver - works fine. FTP software has a
- version that supports PPP too, I think.
