- Billy:
-
- Cisco does not maintain an on-line ftp server of product information,
- per se. If you need the latest product literature, please call Cisco
- Customer Service, and we'll be glad to mail you whatever you need.
-
- What we do have available on-line is a new service called CIO, or Customer
- Information On-Line. CIO provides users direct access to information such as
- known bugs, software release information, technical tips, and general
- information on Cisco customer services. CIO is available to customers covered
- under Smartnet or other Cisco service agreements, as well as CA Partners and
- distributors of our products. If you fall into one of these categories, please
- contact Cisco Customer Service to request access to CIO.
-
- (I believe Lockheed has a few Smartnet contracts; check to see if your
- location is covered under one of them).
-
- I'll pass on your request to our Information Services group. It may be
- possible to get product literature added as a new CIO service, or
- establish a seperate ftp server for this purpose.
-
- To contact Cisco Customer Service for product literature or to request CIO
- access, please call us at 800-553-NETS (800-553-6387), or send e-mail to
- "cs@cisco.com".
-
- If you'd like to discuss either issue with me directly, please feel free to
- contact me by fax, phone or e-mail (see below).
-
- At your service!
