- I am using a Zoltrix 2400 baud modem and am having problems.
-
- The system that the modem is being used on is a 386dx-33mhz.
- The modem is configured for com4 and has bnu170 as the fossil
- driver. FrontDoor 2.02 is used to initialize and answer the phone.
-
- The initialization string contains the &C1&D3 that should ensure
- that the "carrier detected, initializing the modem (3 times)," loop
- should not occur. This has not happened with other modems. The
- documentation that came with the modem was so sparse that the
- modem was _not_ a bargain. This modem is not the fax modem, just the
- plain vanilla 2400 modem.
-
- If anyone has this modem and has been successful in getting the modem
- to initialize and behave itself under FrontDoor, I'd really appreciate
- the init string sent to me netmail.
-
- I have tried the echo ATH0&C1>com4 hack. It does not work in this
- instance.
-
- Thanks for your assistance,
-
