  11. I am using a Zoltrix 2400 baud modem and am having problems.

  13. The system that the modem is being used on is a 386dx-33mhz.
  14. The modem is configured for com4 and has bnu170 as the fossil
  15. driver.  FrontDoor 2.02 is used to initialize and answer the phone.

  17. The initialization string contains the &C1&D3 that should ensure
  18. that the "carrier detected, initializing the modem (3 times)," loop
  19. should not occur.  This has not happened with other modems.  The
  20. documentation that came with the modem was so sparse that the
  21. modem was _not_ a bargain.  This modem is not the fax modem, just the
  22. plain vanilla 2400 modem.

  24. If anyone has this modem and has been successful in getting the modem
  25. to initialize and behave itself under FrontDoor, I'd really appreciate
  26. the init string sent to me netmail.

  28. I have tried the echo ATH0&C1>com4 hack.  It does not work in this
  29. instance.
