- I finally received my modem from BFJ on the 22nd of July. I ordered
- it about 3 months earlier. They told me it would take 2 months.
- Though the price was good ($289 plus shipping), they seemed
- irresponsible (in my opinion). I was on a waiting list for all of
- that time, and when I called back after 2 months, they said I was
- still at the bottom. After 3 months, I called again and they said,
- "oh, we are just filling orders for those on the waiting list that
- call back." I was very upset --- they weren't even using that list!!!
- They must have sensed this, because they shipped a week later.
- Just before they shipped, they told me that they couldn't get
- my Mac Hardware handshaking cable, which they assured me wasn't no
- problem to get 3 months earlier. But when I got the bill, they had
- charged me for the cable anyway! When I called back, they assured me
- that they "probably certainly" had reversed the charge on my
- mastercard for the cost of the cable, but I have seen no evidence of
- this as of yet.
