  22. I have not seen any program/modem that can detect the call-waiting
  23. tone and notify you *BUT* there is generally a code to disable the
  24. call-waiting feature.

  26. Here in Texas we use *70 then dial the your number.  Call-waiting will
  27. remain disabled untill you hang-up.  Call your local CO to find out if
  28. you need a different code.
