  12. My computer has two 82510 UARTs soldered in its serial ports.
  13. After reading the docs to the Fossil Driver X00V124.ZIP, I 
  14. realized that the 82510 UART has a 4 byte FIFO buffer, similar
  15. to the 16550A UART's 16 byte FIFO buffer.

  17. Using a SupraFaxModem v.32bis, I normally have no problems when
  18. my serial port is set to 19200, but when I try higher speeds like
  19. 38400 and 57600, I get character loss from the serial port.

  21. My questions are as follows:

  23.     1) Is there any terminal program out there that supports an
  24. 82510 UART and its FIFO buffer?  Also, a list of any term programs 
  25. that use the X00 Fossil driver would be helpful.

  27.     2) For whoever has a 16550A UART; is it possible to set your
  28. serial port to 38400/57600 and get no character loss?
