- You must realize, that _YOU_ changed your order. With most companies a
- change in an order is construed as a cancellation and re-issue of a new
- order request. Also, most computer backorder systems that I've seen/dealt
- with do not allow an order to be "taken in the middle of a queue". This
- way no-one can be given preferential treatment by "squeezing em into
- the list". I could see people offering the order taker (or worse, the
- order taker upping the price) extra cash to get them in the list earlier.

- Bribery only works at the government level, I think :)

- Actually, I don't see where they were at fault. They did not promise you
- that you were staying at the top of the list (Although, they _SHOULD_ have
- told you that cancelling your 1 item would re-issue the order at the new
- date.)

-
- Calm down. You're as hyper as that dude earlier this year with the
- so-called UPS fiasco. In that case as well, UPS was not at fault, and
- the person assumed incorrectly.
