  20. I placed my telepath order on February 25. It was acknowleged by GW2K
  21. on March 5, so I was in the queue pretty early. On the same order I had
  22. requested an ATI Ultra Graphics card. In mid-June, I called GW2K and
  23. cancelled the ATI Graphics Ultra card part of the order. "No problem!",
  24. said the customer service person. "Your Telepath is still on order!".

  26. So, yesterday (8/13) I called customer service to find out why I
  27. haven't yet received the modem as I was told I would, having placed the
  28. order in March. To my absolute dismay, I was told that when I took the
  29. ATI Ultra Graphics card off the order in mid-June, GW2K actually
  30. cancelled the *entire* order and put in a *new* order with a mid-June
  31. order date; ie, I got bumped out of the queue, and that I now wouldn't
  32. be getting the modem until August 27 (sure.)

  34. Needless to say, I was *ANGRY* and indicated this to the nice lady at
  35. the other end of the phone. She spoke to her supervisor and told me
  36. that the mixup shouldn't have happened, it was their mistake, and that
  37. the supervisor would "see what she could do."

  43. When someone asks me what I think of GW2K's business practices, I am
  44. not going to be kind. "Seeing what she can do" doesn't jibe with the
  45. guaranteed ship dates you promised. It's *YOUR* problem you changed my
  46. order date. I expect you to ship me a modem *with manual* TODAY by
  47. overnight express. That's what "she can do" ought to mean to you.

  49. "See what you can do" to remove the bad taste you are leaving in
  50. people's mouths by this fiasco.
