  16. I had a problem calling a T1600 from an ATI 2400 etc/e, using V42. I tried
  17. it with and without MNP5 compression. The did connect, but the T1600 did
  18. not recognize V42. It worked fine with a T3000, and worked fine with
  19. MNP4/MNP5 so it may be a problem with the T1600, at V22bis/V42. Does
  20. anyone had problems in using a V22bis modem, with V42 error correction to
  21. connect a T1600 ? Any help will be appreciated.

  24. BTW, the T1600 was set with S180=2, S181=1 (and so was the T3000, and
  25. worked with the last)
