  14. Can anyone tell me what Hayes settings I should use to get my modem to dial
  15. the German telephone system?  I have a 2400 baud modem, but unfortunately I
  16. don't know yet what speed I'll be connecting at.

  18. Specifically, what should &G and &P be set to?  Should I use Pulse or Tone
  19. dialing?  Is there anything else I ought to know?
